Niche Research Training Resources
What happens when most new business owners attack niche research? Information overload. Analysis paralysis.
It's easy to gather so much information that you simply stare at it, not knowing what to do with all those keywords. You need to find out how to make sense of all the data you gather.
Fortunately, there are some excellent resources available for understanding the information you receive and putting it to good use in developing a profitable business around your niche.
What resources are best for this?
I especially encourage you to check out the first two. The first one is a membership site that is well worth joining from much more than just the niche research training.
The second is a free webinar that does an excellent job at walking you through all the steps of effective market research.
That's not to say that there's nothing to be learned in the other resources on this page. I simply consider the first two to be "musts" for anyone who wants to succeed in finding a profitable niche and marketing to it effectively.
Jim Edwards' The Net Reporter Marketing Strategies Site
Jim Edwards, one of the most successful Internet marketers, takes you through all the steps of setting up a business online.
This comprehensive treasure-trove of marketing know-how has one of the most complete collection of tips of how to find a profitable niche and build your site around it that I've ever seen.
His approach goes well beyond just finding attractive keywords. He teaches you how to get inside your potential customers' heads and tap right into what makes them buy. Absolutely brilliant!
This site is packed full of valuable tips and strategies to help you in whatever point you're at in building your Internet business.
How highly do I recommend this training site? The only way I would every quit it is if decided to sell or close my business. Other than those two reasons, I can't imagine any reason I would ever go without my membership there. (See full review)
Free Keyword Research Webinar
I just came across an incredible keyword free webinar on keyword research and I got permission to share it with you.
Grab a cup of coffee settle in. It's two hours, but it's well worth you time!
The first half is OK. It covers a lot of basics about the differences between market research versus keyword research.
The best part of the first half laid out the different goals that different people might have for their research and what types of tools were best for each type.
The second half is what really blew me away, though. Keyword research expert Jim Morris spent a full hour walking listeners through every step of finding a profitable niche.
He dealt with details that most people don't even think of. It is really a must-hear for anyone who is about to research a niche.
I'd even recommend it for anyone whose business is not as profitable as they hoped. Following the tips he gave can apply equally well to someone who wants to take their existing site and go back to make it more effective. (Check out this free webinar now!)
