Develop repeat customers with opt-in email promotion

email marketingOne of the most overlooked strategies among new business owners is email marketing. I'm not talking about blasting out spam through one of the spammers whose unsolicited email in your inbox promises to "send your emails to thousands of interested customers."

You should definitely ignore those hucksters. What I'm talking about is building a list of subscribers and growing your relationship with them so you can keep your product in front of their minds.

I know. Things like "building a list" or "setting up autoresponder series" sound unfamiliar and challenging.

The benefits of doing this are enormous, though. And these processes are easier than you think. You just have to get started and build momentum.

aWeber Autoresponder System

This industry-standard autoresponder system enables you to develop an opt-in list of customers and communicate with them regularly and automatically.

Developing an opt-in list of customers is not an optional part of promoting your site.

It is four times easier to persuade a visitor who has bought from you before to buy again than one who hasn't. Furthermore, attracting new customers costs far more than nurturing your existing customers.

Because of these facts, I know of NO successful marketing expert who DOESN'T consider it essential to build and nurture an opt-in list of existing customers and prospective customers.

List Marketing Formula

This course lays out a proven formula for building your list and marketing to it. It takes you through every step of both list building and what to do once you've built your list.

You get all that information, plus templates designed to get visitors to subscribe. If you want to increase your subscribers and make your marketing to them more effective, this looks like a great way to give yourself that needed boost.

1Shopping Cart

If you're selling any kind of goods on your site, you need a shopping cart anyway, and 1Shopping Cart gives you an excellent shopping cart and much more.

It also provides broadcast mailing functions so you can contact existing customers. And it enables you to set up autoresponders and automates the process of building forms so you can easily incorporate opt-in forms to your website.

Hey, I figure that if you're going to have a shopping cart anyway, you might as well have one that does double duty, triple duty, and even more! I consider 1Shopping Cart the Swiss army knive of shopping carts (See review)

Autoresponder Magic

Autoresponder Magic gives you tested and successful templates you can use to get you going on writing autoresponder messages for your list.

As I say, each template is based on top-selling autoresponder messages from top online marketers. All you have to do is plug your information into the templates and load them into your autoresponder series.

Million-Dollar Emails

Million-Dollar Emails works in much the same way as Autoresponder Magic. It, too, gives you proven templates drawn from sales-generating templates.

Plug your information into the template and use it to write persuasive emails without having to agonize over what to write and how to word it.

Just a word about their information page. The page looks a little dated. It quotes data from 2001 and 2004. I don't know why they haven't updated their page, but the templates you get from them work as well now as they did back then. So I wouldn't worry about the dates.

List-Builder Pro

This complete lead generation/list-building system is the system of choice for some of the most successful marketers around. If this is what they've chosen after testing all the other options for attracting subscribers to their lists, I'd say, "Enough said."

One warning, though. This system doesn't work with AWeber or GetResponse autoresponder services. So if you use either of these, this is not the service you want to get leads through.
