33 Days to Online Profits has an ambitious goal. It tries to break starting a business into 33 manageable steps, each of which a reader can do in one day. Surprisingly, though, it does an excellent job of it.

Written by highly successful marketers

The fact that the authors do it so well shouldn't be a surprise, though. Yanik Silver and Jim Edwards are two of the most successful Internet marketers around. They've made all the mistakes a marketer can make and have learned how to do it right.

If fact, they say in the introduction that they wasted tens of thousands of dollars on worthless tools and mistakes before they learned the lessons that let them now consistently build one successful business after another.

They know how to run a successful business. And they guide you through what they've learned so you can use the same proven process in your business as well.

Easy to understand lessons

I found the material well-organized and easy to read. Silver and Edwards break each of the 33 lessons into clear, understandable parts:

• Lesson objective: a single sentence that summarizes that day's goal
• Skills needed: simple, everyday skills that you need for that day's goal
• Lesson: simple, step-by-step actions to fulfill the day's goal
• Summary: checklist of what you accomplished that day
• Featured articles: additional articles to help you better understand what you're doing at this point in your business
• Resources: tools and info that can help you with what you learned in the lesson
• Budget Cruncher Resources: tools and info that you can use for little or no cost

It does an excellent job laying out the options you face in each step. It explains the pros and cons of each option so you can make the decision that fits you and your business best.

Focused mainly on only two business models

33 Days to Online Profits focuses mainly on marketing info-products or affiliate referrals rather than on other business models. But, hey, those business models are where the authors do most of their marketing.

I would have liked to see them spend more time on some other important points. They don't really touch much on:

• Finding something you really enjoy and building your business around it
• Finding an audience that shares your interest
• Choosing the business model that works best for your business and its target audience

Comprehensive and easy to follow

Aside from that, though, the ebook is extremely comprehensive and organized in a way that makes building your business very manageable.

Optional video enhancements

33 Days to Online Profits also gives you the option of receiving the course in an enhanced, video format on two CDs. The CD version contains training videos along with the ebook.

The videos don't just explain what to do, they sit you down at Silver's and Edwards' computers while they show you exactly what they to when they set up a new business. This is especially good if you like to learn things by seeing them!

Final thoughts

Overall, I find 33 Days to Online Profits to be an exceptional value. While I would have liked to see more in certain areas, what it contains is far superior to the vast majority of business building courses available.

Between the expertise of the authors and the easy-to-follow steps that they lay out, it's a real winner. And the enhanced CD version of the course is great for anyone who wants to watch how two experts do the same steps they're telling you to do.
