"Article Announcer" Article Submission Software Review
Is "Article Announcer" Worth Using?

Are you thinking of buying Article Announcer to help increase visitors to your site? I'll warn you, not everyone will find it to be what they're looking for. But it has a lot going for it that other submission tools and services fall short on. Make sure you read this review to see whether it fits what you're looking for.
Article Announcer was one of the first tools introduced to help you quickly submit your articles to article directories. The directories get useful content that they can distribute to publishers. You get one-way links back into your site at the end of your article. Everybody wins.
Article Announcer has stood up over time, listened to feedback from its customers, learned more effective ways to do things, and built them into its free upgrades.
The one knock on Article Announcer
The one knock on Article Announcer has always been that some people feel it's not automated enough. It automates the most repetitive parts of article submission, but doesn't give you a push-one-button-and-walk-away solution.
Other submission tools and services have come forward with "one button" submissions. But, frankly, all the "one button" tools and services I've seen strike me as dangerous and ineffective.
The problem with the "one button" approach
"One button" tools and services strike me as dangerous because many of them use techniques that can actually get you banned from submitting to some of the article directories. And they strike me as ineffective because they give you no way to control the submission process once you push that button.
So why do some people want a "one button" solution? I don't know. It baffles me that people will pursue their dreams of running their own business, but then run that business into the ground by always picking the quickest and most ineffective ways of building it.
If you're one of those "marketers" simply want to press one button, have some submission tool blast 50 different articles to 1,000 different directories, and walk away without caring whether it did you any good or not, Article Announcer isn't for you.
What puts Article Announcer ahead of other solutions
Ultimately, what I feel sets Article Announcer apart from the rest is that it concerns itself with more than just submitting your articles. Sure, it's great to say that your article is submitted and that you're done with it.
But what if, once your article is submitted, it's done doing any good for you? Not so great, huh? But that's what happens with the vast majority of articles because the "one button" tools don't do anything to help your article stand out from all the rest.
It does you no good if your article is submitted but rejected. It does you no good if your article is accepted but never picked up by any other sites.
You want your articles accepted. You want your articles seen. You want your articles picked up and distributed to hundreds or thousands of sites across the Internet. That's the only way your submissions do you any good. And that is where Article Announcer excels.
Helps you write better articles that attract more visitors
Article Announcer shows you how to make your article the kind of article that sends customers to your site from all over the Internet. The software includes training CDs with top writers and marketers. This training helps you discover:
- How to pick article topics that will get your articles seen
- How to avoid the mistakes that make most articles ineffective at bringing visitors to your site
- How to write your articles so they are accepted, picked up by content sites, read by visitors, and clicked on to bring those visitors to your site
- How to pick article topics that will get your articles the most attention
- How frequently to submit articles to make them work the most effectively for you
Ultimately, Article Announcer helps you write effective, visitor-attracting articles.
Gives you more control over how your article appears
Another advantage I feel Article Announcer has over all the "one button" solutions is the control it gives you. The way that the "one-button submission" tools and services work cripples your ability to control where and how your article appears. Article Announcer lets you see each submission in progress.
You choose the article you want to submit and the article directories you want to submit to. (I've found it best to choose about ten directories at a time.) Then you push the button to start submitting.
Article Announcer takes you to the first directory. You see that directory's submission form with your article all filled in. Check it over to make sure there are no mistakes. Choose the category where you want your article to appear. Then press the Submit button.
Your article is submitted and Article Announcer moves you to the next directory you've chosen. You repeat the same steps at each directory. In no time at all, you're done.
Avoids problems that can doom your submission
Why is this better than pushing a button and walking away? First of all, I've found from experience that some directories change their submission forms regularly just to trip up the "one-button" submitters.
If a "one-button" tool encounters a form that doesn't fill in properly, it submits it anyway and your article is rejected. You don't even know it's been rejected. If the form doesn't fill in properly with Article Announcer, you spot the problem and correct the missing fields before you submit.
Also, since the "one-button" submission tools and services are completely automated, they cannot intelligently choose the best category for your article. The best they can do is to guess. This may put your article in an undesired category where it will languish, unseen and doing nothing for you.
How much time does Article Announcer save?
My experience is that it turns what would have been a couple of full days of submitting articles into a couple of hours. I probably couldn't devote a couple of days a week to submitting. But a couple of hours a week I can do.
And it's fun to check the stats in Article Announcer each week and see each article growing from dozens to hundreds to even thousands of sites that have picked them up!
Granted, the price for Article Announcer is more than some of those "one-button" solutions cost, but I've found that Article Announcer gives you a lot more than just a charge against your credit card. It gives you:
- Expert training on how to make your article marketing more effective
- A submission tool that gives you just the control you need for your submissions
- Web space and autoresponder service to help you distribute your articles more easily
Maybe it's better just to show you everything that comes as part of Article Announcer:
- Article Announcer software
- Three hour-long CDs that contains an interview between Article Announcer creator Jason Potash and John Reese discussing how to write articles that will give you the maximum benefit
- A large spiral notebook that contains a transcript of the three CDs
- A CD full of video training lessons on how to use Article Announcer
- A User Guide on how to use Article Announcer
- A 23-page "Swipe File" of sample articles to show you examples of successful articles that follow the article creation guidelines outlined in the CDs and transcripts
Since I started using Article Announcer, submitting articles has become my most important technique for bringing new visitors into my site. Whenever I want to boost the number of visitors to the next level, I submit another batch of articles. The increase in visitors is almost instantaneous.
In short, Article Announcer has become one of the most important tools in my Internet marketing arsenal.
I rate it 10 out of 10
