Making Money on eBay - Turn Auction Traffic into Cash

tips for making money on eBay in Turn Auction Traffic into CashReview of ebook that shows how to make money on eBay by turning viewers—who may not even have bid—into lifetime customers

If you're thinking of buying Turn Auction Traffic into Cash, you know the problem it tries to solve. Does it solve that problem, or is it just empty hype? Before you make your decision, I'll tell you both what I found useful and what might disappoint you with it.

The problem that Turn Auction Traffic into Cash addresses is simple, but it's a big one.

The problem it seeks to solve

Isn't it frustrating to compare that number of people who place a bid on your auction to the number who visit it without bidding? Most of the time the number of bidders is only a small fraction of those who visit it.

Each of those visitors had some degree of interest in what you're selling. Otherwise they wouldn't have clicked on your listing in the first place.

But once your auction is over, you have contact with only one of them: your buyer. Wouldn't you love to stay in touch with -- and eventually sell to -- those who were interested in your product, but didn't win that auction?

First steps toward solving the problem

That's the thought behind one of the strategies that Jim Cockrum revealed in his first major ebook, 'The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay'. In 'Silent Sales Machine,' he poured out his secrets that had made him a highly successful eBay seller.

He uncovered a number of secrets for finding low-cost products, for increasing sales, and much more.

What Turn Auction Traffic into Cash does well

But among those secrets was a powerful strategy for getting bidders -- and even visitors who didn't bid at all -- to opt in to your mailing list. And he described how he had used this strategy to build a relationship with them that led to many of them buying, and buying repeatedly.

These were sales from people who otherwise would have left his listings and never had contact with him again! And the strategy he describes is totally within eBay's rules!

That particular opt-in strategy was so powerful that eBay sellers clamored for more. So he wrote 'Turn Auction Traffic Into Cash' to lead them step by step through the process of:

  • Generating a profitable opt-in list on eBay
  • Doing it totally within eBay rules
  • Doing it so that it's automated and largely hands-free

Easy to follow steps

I always find Jim's ebooks highly readable and easy to follow. And 'Turn Auction Traffic into Cash' is no exception. It has pictures to take you step by step through the process of setting yourself up on eBay to get your bidders buying from you -- again and again.

It definitely can help you increase your sales. And it does it with a completely automated process that doesn't add a lot of extra work for you. In fact, it may actually help you to decrease the time you spend on your business.

My one disappointment

My only disappointment with 'Turn Auction Traffic into Cash' is pretty petty. Having read Cockrum's nearly 200-page 'The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay,' I expected 'Auction Traffic' to be of similar length.

It's around 60 pages. But, hey, 'Silent Sales Machine' is a whole different animal. It gives an overview of dozens of auction strategies and product sources. 'Auction Traffic' gives intensive, step-by-step details about one very powerful auction strategy.

And it leaves nothing about that strategy uncovered. After reading 'Auction Traffic' you should have no problem setting up everything you need to put this strategy to work for you.

Advanced techniques for making money on eBay

This is far more than a book on how to list an item for auction. It's advanced stuff that can take you out of the company of those eBayers who make a couple of bucks here and there. As your list grows, it can put you into the company of those who make a living on eBay.

In all, 'Turn Auction Traffic into Cash' uncovers a powerful strategy for making you money on eBay. I'm constantly surprised at how few eBay sellers I see doing anything like it. That makes it a great strategy to give you a definite advantage over your competition.
