"Ezine Announcer" Ezine Promotion Software Review
Ezine Announcer review gives an inside look at an ezine submission software that gets your ezine into the directories fast
Ezine Announcer is designed to list your ezine in the ezine directories quickly and efficiently. Now, at first glance, a tool to help you submit to ezine directories may seem like a luxury. Who has time to run a newsletter or ezine when you're starting a business?
But ask any SUCCESSFUL business owner online, and they'll tell you that building relationships with visitors is crucial to your ongoing sales.
If you aren't capturing email addresses of your casually interested visitors and building relationships with them, you're letting potential sales simply walk away from you.
And that isn't limited to website businesses. Nurturing relationships with auction bidders and even casual watchers is a proven strategy for increasing sales in an auction environment, too.
So if you don't have a way to build ongoing relationships with your interested visitors, start planning one. And a newsletter has the added advantage of being an additional avenue that you can use to attract visitors by offering valuable information about your topic that you make available for free.
As I prepared to promote my newsletter, I compiled a list of ezine directories I could submit to.
In the process, I stumbled upon Ezine Announcer and gave it a try. It did everything I was looking for to quickly and easily submit my ezine to far more directories than I had found on my own.
What it does
Let me get one thing straight. Ezine Announcer is not some sort of automated spam tool that sends out hundreds of untargeted submissions to unwitting ezine directories. You don't just click a button, walk away, and come back to find a couple dozen angry emails from directory owners accusing you of spamming them.
It's designed to prefill forms on each signup page. Then you check the form for accuracy and fill in any fields the software couldn't fill in. I'll tell you, it sure beats copying and pasting the same info over and over again on dozens of different forms!
How it works
Usually, all you need to fill in is a category to list your directory in. So the process usually goes something like this:
- Fill in all the fields in the software. You only have to do this once.
- Choose the directories you want to submit to from the list of choices in the software interface.
- Click the button on the software to start submitting your newsletter. The software shows you the first form, already filled in with the info you previously provided.
- Check the form for accuracy and to choose your category.
- Click the Submit button on the form.
- Click the button to submit to the next site and keep going through the same steps until you're done.
Saves both time and hassle
I figure Ezine Announcer turned what would have been a couple of days worth of work into a couple of hours. And that's not even counting the additional research time it would have taken me to find all the dozens of ezine directories and submission lists that I hadn't already found on my own.
Then, too, the fact that you fill in the information before you ever start saves you a lot of hassle as you submit. When I submitted my blog to the blog directories, I constantly ran across individual directories wanting descriptions of different types or lengths than I was prepared for.
I'd have to create a new description off the top of my head, or hunt for some obscure information it had requested, all while hoping that the form wouldn't time me out and dump everything I had already filled in before I finished.
With Ezine Announcer, you fill all the information that any of the forms will need before you even start submitting. You take care of all the information gathering and writing of descriptions at your leisure. So, for the most part, each submission consists of little more than a few clicks.
What results to expect
I found Ezine Announcer to be a quick and easy way to promote my newsletter as long as you don't expect miracles of it. You won't get thousands of signups from it. My experience was that I got a couple of dozen right after I submitted and an ongoing flow of traffic from them as time goes on.
In addition, it provided a number of valuable incoming links to both my home page and my newsletter signup page that have helped build those pages' strength in the search engines.
Overall, I found Ezine Announcer to be a great way to jump-start my opt-in list.
I rate it 10 out of 10
