Insider Secrets of an eBay Millionaire
Inside look at an eBay selling course for starting and building an eBay selling business. Does it give you what you need to succeed?
I was excited when I first heard about Insider Secrets of an eBay Millionaire coming out. It comes from the people who created what I consider the absolute best and most complete guide on starting a website-based business.
I wasn't disappointed.
Huge amount of helpful course materials
The course materials are huge, all filled with useful tips on building an eBay business from scratch.
Identifies what you need to start
It identifies exactly what you need to start and what tools and products can wait until you've grown into them.
The course sincerely tries to get absolute beginners started in the auction business as effectively -- and as economically -- as possible.
Bonus materials on basic and advanced techniques
I found the bonus materials in the course to be excellent, too. A quick-start guide shows you how to get up and running on eBay in 24 hours. And a product sourcing guide walks you through how to find products to sell on eBay.
There are also four CD-ROMs with tips on more advanced eBay selling techniques. The course I have covers:
- How to increase your profits by creating your own eBay store
- How to develop your own info products to sell at enormous profits
- How to build a successful eBay business that selling other people's merchandise
- How to use your experiences as an eBay buyer to make you a better seller
What I would have liked to see
The only thing I would have liked to see more emphasis on is the value of building an opt-in list of your buyers, bidders and viewers, and how to build one.
Although they mention it, they don't go much into detail on it.
Building relationships with your eBay customers is an important, but usually overlooked method of building your auction business. In fact, it's so underused that it's somewhat of a secret weapon among those who do it.
(If you want to learn more about how to build an opt-in list within eBay's rules, I have a review of an ebook that focuses specifically on that. See my review of Turn Your Auction Traffic into Cash.)
An excellent course for any eBay seller
But other than the fact that I felt it could have done more on discussing relationship-building, I felt this was as complete of a course on building an eBay business as I've seen.
It has something for just about everyone. It can help someone who is just starting on eBay with invaluable tips on how to start and grow your business. And it has advanced tips to help seasoned veterans looking for an edge on their competition.
It's definitely a worthy companion for the original Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet. And it gives owners of online auction businesses an equally valuable resource for their specific needs.
I rate it a 9 out of 10.
Helping you become the successful business owner you want to be.
