Review of "My Silent Team" Internet Marketing Resource Site
I was excited to hear that Jim Cockrum was starting a private membership site. I've long considered his books on eBay selling to be way above most of what's out there about selling on eBay. Cockrum has written some of the most innovative books on eBay selling:
- The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay
- Turn Auction Traffic Into Cash
- A Part-Time Plan for Massive Success Using eBay and the Internet
Beyond that, he's moved more and more outside of eBay lately to cover the full gamet of Internet marketing as well. Frankly, I feel his free newsletter consistently gives more valuable information than I've gotten from many paid newsletters.
So the idea that he is now giving even BETTER information on his membership site excited me.
But does a good track record translate into a valuable membership site?
But running a membership site has its own challenges. As many innovative tips as Cockrum brings to his free newsletter, can he really provide enough resources of even higher value to make the (still modest) price of membership worthwhile?
Here's what I found.
Lets you interact with a wide variety of top marketing experts
As far as being able to provide enough highly valuable tips to make membership worthwhile, My Silent Team passes the first test. It goes well beyond just Cockrum's knowledge.
My Silent Team enlists some top eBay marketers to share their tips and strategies:
- Mike Enos
- Dave Guindon
- Dave Lovelace
- Rob Frechette
- Tim Knox
- Skip McGrath
- Robbin Tungett
- and many more
They include some pretty big names as well as some under-the-radar marketers who have sold millions on eBay and on the Web. And they all share their knowledge as part of the reasonable monthly membership.
And they do more than just share articles about marketing on eBay and elsewhere on the Web. They also are active on the private forum to answer your questions.
What impressed me most
I've mentioned a couple of times about My Silent Team that it's price is reasonable. That's actually an understatement. My Silent Team costs roughly 20% of what membership in most Internet marketing communities like it cost. You definitely get your money's worth!
Consider this: many of these top marketers use My Silent Team as a beta group for their new products. That means that you regularly get to download FOR FREE products by top marketers that will eventually sell for two or three times what you paid for one month's membership. Now that's value!
Is My Silent Team right for you?
I see two things that determine whether it's right for you. If your business focuses heavily on eBay, my answer is a definite yes. With some of the top eBay experts at your fingertips, it would give you a bargain at several times the price.
The second thing is whether you're willing to use it. If you're a collector of infoproducts—someone who buys and buys infoproducts only to let them languish on your hard drive—don't bother. This resource site is for people who are serious about building a successful business online—not for people who merely want to play at it.
If you're serious about building a successful business—and especially if you're interested in growing some or all of that business on eBay—my Silent Team gives you plenty of riches to mine. If you're willing to mine them, it will repay you many times over for what you put into it.
