Review of ebook on how to position yourself with top quality, brand-name merchandise to sell on eBay

You've got to chuckle at the title, which matches the folks-like-us writing style of the ebook.

I bought this ebook for its tips on how to buy merchandise at less than wholesale cost to resell on eBay. I was not disappointed, but there are some important things to consider before committing any money to it.

Excellent tips, but with not without some filler

It was an unusually large ebook for the price I paid, and the info it promised was all there and very good. It contained a lot of filler, though.

Approximetely the first third of it told Janiece's story of all the failed efforts and dead ends she encountered before she discovered her eBay selling secret for finding outstanding merchandise to sell on eBay.

Not the most necessary information, I thought, but a good story of the trial and error process of starting an eBay business, and an encouraging lesson of how anyone, with any background, can succeed in an eBay selling if they work at it.

Stuffed with great secrets on finding products

The main body of the "Soggy Sandwiches" ebook was great, stuffed with her info on how to position yourself with major, brand-name manufacturers as a professional retailer and buy merchandise from them at less than wholesale prices.

It's great stuff, and gives you the basics of how to do this.

And for those who don't want to go that route, she had another large section on how to obtain quality merchandise at next to nothing in your own neighborhood to sell on eBay.

Again, worth every penny.

In my opinion, if they had cut the ebook to half its size and given it a higher price, you still would get more than your money's worth out of it.

My concerns

What concerns me is that the end of the ebook contained a lengthy description of her advanced Home Study Course, in which she promised lots more secrets for setting yourself up to resell brand-name merchandise. The Home Study Course includes some really attractive things, including contact information for her best suppliers, as well as personal coaching.

It left me thinking, though, "Hey, if you've got even better info to share, why not put it in here and just charge more for the ebook?" If she had left it at the tips she gave, I would have been more than satisfied. But I felt a little let down by the fact that she admitted that there was more she could have shared in it.

"Soggy Sandwiches" basically tells what you can do to position yourself as a reputable distributor for brand name products. The Home Study Course gets into all the insider tricks of how to do it so you can get where you want to be quickly.

The "Soggy Sandwiches" ebook itself is fine, but it whets your appetite for the Home Study Course. And the Home Study Course is where I have my chief concern.

Outstanding advanced course, but...

I eventually bought the Home Study Course. It was pricey, but was worth a lot more than I paid for it, even if you don't consider the personal mentoring part of it.

I can see that there was no way she could have included all the info from her advanced program in any ebook. All the books and folders for the Home Study Course weigh nearly 10 pounds! It's unfortunate that delivery speed and customer service does not always match the quality of the course.

I have concerns about their customer service on the Home Study Course, because of the following:

• My own experience with slow delivery of the Home Study Course and slow response to customer service questions, which I considered, at the time, just an unfortunate glitch
• Other instances of customer service problems, suggesting that my customer service problem was not an isolated incident
• A number of complaints to the Better Business Bureau

Final thoughts on "Soggy Sandwiches"

So the "Soggy Sandwiches" ebook itself contains outstanding information. I consider "Soggy Sandwiches" worthwhile for anyone who'd like to resell merchandise on eBay from some of the biggest brand names. (Or for those looking for tips on obtaining quality used merchandise from their own towns.) And "Soggy Sandwiches" is an instantly downloadable product, so there are no delivery or customer service problems you should have with it.

I have no reservations about the knowledge the "Soggy Sandwiches" ebook imparts. I'm still not convinced that devoting a good portion of it to promoting the Home Study Course was the best use of the ebook. But it worked with me and I'm happy with both the initial ebook and the Home Study Course.

Final thoughts on the Home Study Course

I urge you to use caution, though, before buying the Home Study Course. It contains a wealth of valuable information, but I have reservations about whether you'll receive a quick delivery and smooth customer service with it.
