How to Find Wholesale Products to Sell Online
Review of a free video course on how to find wholesale products at profit-generating prices
Worldwide Brands has put years into product sourcing research. Both eBay and Entrepreneur.com recognize Worldwide Brands as leading experts on product sourcing—namely, how to find the best sources for your products. Their directory of legitimate wholesale suppliers is unsurpassed.
So you would expect them to produce an outstanding video ecourse on that subject.
Does this ecourse deliver?
The first thing that struck me about this video tutorial is that if you're looking for state-of-the-art graphics, you're in the wrong place. Graphics range from simple to downright corny.
But graphics shouldn't be what you're after here. Content is what matters. And in that, this video course does a lot better.
The course is divided into eight separate videos that you watch on the web. Each builds on the other. All of them together take about 40 minutes to watch.
Disappointing at first...
The first couple of videos didn't excite me too much. They were basic introductory information that has been second nature to me for years.
Granted, the videos are geared for people who are just learning the basics—not for someone like me who has been active in ecommerce for half a decade. But I was starting to doubt whether this would be worth recommending to anyone but the most inexperienced of new business owners.
Provides a wealth of information once it gets past the basics
But once I got past the first couple of introductory videos, the course really took off. The expertise that Chris Malta and Worldwide Brands have showed through clearly in the thorough treatment of all the ins and outs of the different methods for finding products.
He described both the pros and the cons of each method. He laid out guidelines for moving from one method of sourcing to other, more advanced ones. And he described the ways that relying too much on the beginner methods of finding products to sell can stifle your business' growth.
But where the course really excelled was in its detailed treatment of how to find and approach wholesalers to ensure you get products that give you maximum profits.
He reveals:
- How to tell a legitimate wholesaler from a middleman who does nothing but siphon away profits that should be yours
- The basic minimum business preparation that you need to do in order to get legitimate wholesalers to work with you
- Ways to convince legitimate wholesalers that your business is promising enough for it to be worth their while to work with you
Is "How to Find Wholesale Products to Sell Online" worth watching?
I quickly came to the conclusion that this video course would be worthwhile for anyone interested in selling physical products online. Hey, it's free, so you can't say you don't want to spend money on it.
For a total investment of about 40 minutes of time, you can find out things about product sourcing that it took me a couple of years to learn on my own.
If you're interested in selling physical products online, this is a great way to learn the insider secrets of the product sourcing world.
I rate it a 9 out of 10
