Not much to say today
After fighting to keep warm in a cold and bitter wind all day at my kids' track meet, I was just too tired to work much after I got home. So I didn't. Chalk this up as a family day, which was definitely needed.
Oh, by the way, they won the meet, my son tried the hurdles for the first time and did surprisingly well (he took fourth even though he had never practiced it before) and my daughter was excited that she almost cleared the bar in pole vault (which has been a huge mental block for her). So it was a satisfying family day at that.
Can't feel guilty about that.
