Are You Taking that Most Important First Step?
Here's a favorite quote from J. Pierpont Morgan:
Parting with where you are doesn't mean simply parting with that place's unpleasant aspects. It also means parting ways with that familiar old security blanket we wrap ourselves inside.
It means exposing ourselves to the unfamiliar and growing beyond what we now are. The only way to have a better future is to be willing to give up the comfortable security of a stagnant now.
There is no gain without risk.
Only those who take the risk stand a chance of gaining the reward.
Here's hoping you make the decision to pursue that journey to the "somewhere" you envision -- despite the cost.
